This morning we headed over to Arroyo Trabuco in Mission Viejo to shoot a Sunday Brunch. This is one of our favorite venues to shoot weddings, so when Allison contacted us and asked if we were interested in shooting a brunch, we were very excited, and very hungry! Do yourselves a favor and stop by one Sunday morning for brunch, everything tastes as good as it looks!

We first met Jasmine and Charles at another wedding back in October of 2007. These two have a great story how they met. Jasmine is from Australia and Charles is from here. They met in Thailand while traveling and fell in love! They just had their wedding in Australia and today another ceremony for their friends and family here in the states. They both made me a little nervous because they both work in the film industry. Maybe you’ve heard of a couple little “spiderman” movies on the big screen? Jasmine is a also a hardcore Canon shooter like us! She actually shoots with the same 5D Mark II I have and knew exactly what lenses I was using every time I switched. Very cool! These two kept me laughing the entire day and they have most friendly and outgoing personalities. Thank you both again! Also a special thanks to Carrie for 2nd shooting with me today.

Our double wedding weekend continues with Marissa and Robert. They were married at Rancho Capistrano in San Juan Capistrano. These two also planned on having a “first glance” before the wedding so we were able to take them out for some really nice shots in a nearby field. Thank you both for having us along today! Also want to thank Jeret Slack for coming out and shooting with us today. Make sure to check out his blog for more shots from today.

Nicole and Troy kicked off our wedding season by being our first wedding of the year for us. We were very excited for this wedding, and also because we had never shot at Bowers Museum before. If you haven’t been before, you need to check it out next time your in the area. They both decided on seeing each other before the ceremony so they could make excellent use of the light for some great pictures. We staged a “first glance” and these first reactions from the two of them are proof that seeing each other before the ceremony absolutely takes nothing away from the ceremony. Don’t worry there were plenty of tears during the wedding too! Thank you both for such a great time. Special thanks to Corinne Sponagle for coordinating a flawless event!
