I shot Nanette and Tyson’s engagement session today at Manhattan Beach. I love this beach and the pier makes for some really great shots. Nanette and Tyson’s wedding is just right around the corner and I can’t wait to spend more time with them, they are such a great couple and were a blast to hang out with.

Today we shot Ann and Craig’s engagement session at Union Station in Los Angeles. It’s always exciting to shoot at a new place and getting to explore. We had a really fun session with these two. Looking forward to seeing you both again at the wedding in September!

Today I shot Krystal and Andrew’s engagement session in Laguna Beach. I really enjoyed this session because at first they were a little nervous about the session, but later I really felt like we were just old friends, laughing and cracking jokes the entire time. For a couple of camera shy people, I think they turned out awesome. Really looking forward to seeing you both again this summer!

Erica and Rob were married on this gorgeous sunny day at the always beautiful Arroyo Trabuco golf club. These two are such a sweet couple and made Louis and I feel so welcome and comfortable. Arroyo Trabuco is one of our favorite places to shoot not only because it’s beautiful and the food is always great, but the professional staff and coordinator, Alyson Gabaldon, always make the day go by flawlessly. Today we shot Tiffany and Bruno’s wedding at Mountain Gate Country Club. First we started at the Hotel Polomar in LA for some quick getting ready details. It was our first time shooting at Mountain Gate and we were very impressed with this venue, the staff was very professional and the food was incredible. Tiffany and Bruno had so many great details, the best being the hand made sculptures that Bruno made for the the center pieces on each table. We hope you both are enjoying your honeymoon!

We always like when our couples pick a place for their engagement session that has real meaning to them. Lesley and Craig met here at Dental School at USC. This was our second time shooting an engagement session at USC, so it was nice to be back. We had a fun afternoon getting to know these two better, and we are looking forward to seeing them again in September for their wedding.

The big day finally arrived for Tiffany and Jared today. Ever since I shot their engagement session last November, I was excited for their wedding. These two are such a down to earth, and nice couple. It was great getting to know them even more at the wedding through the stories shared from family and friends. This was truly one of those weddings you could stay at all night, thank you both for making me feel so welcomed. This has to be one of the coolest places in Laguna to have a wedding, always so fun to shoot here. There is also a really cool highlight video on Jay’s (the videographer) blog [here]. Missy and Sam met while attending school at Redlands University so it seemed like a perfect fit for them to choose the University to have their wedding. It was such a beautiful wedding and even though it was the hottest day of the year it was still gorgeous and sunny out. Today we shot Claudia & David’s engagement session in Laguna Beach. We started off at the beach, then they made a quick change of clothes and we headed to another spot for a different look. The late afternoon sun was awesome in this field! Thank you both for a fun afternoon, we’ll see you both again August!

Today was wedding number #4 of the year for us! First we headed over to USD to shoot Megan and Dan’s wedding. Such a great day out outside and a little warmer that it has been lately. These two decided to see each other before the ceremony to make extra time for their pictures, so we staged another one of our favorite “first glance” meetings. They are all dressed up and get to see each other for the first time, always makes for a great moment. After the ceremony we headed to the beach for a few more shots, and then a really nice reception at the Darlington House. I think this ring shot is one of my all time favorites! Thank you both again!
