Alice and Nick were married in Santa Monica at Shutters on the Beach.  Shutters is one of the places that Louis and I looked at when we were getting married, so I was so excited to have a chance to shoot a wedding here, I think it’s incredibly beautiful and I always love Santa Monica.  Alice and Nick live out of state and booked us before they were able to meet with us, but when I met them a few months before the wedding I knew that they would be such a fun and very photogenic couple to photograph.  It’s always so great to work with fun people who can’t stop smiling the whole day, and these two fit that description perfectly!  It was such a pleasure photographing their wedding and getting to know them better throughout the day.  Thank you both so much for letting us be part of your wedding day, we hope you enjoy your sneak peek of your wedding day!  I also want to give Alice and Nick’s coordinator Meta Manguy a huge thank you for being such a great help to us and putting together this gorgeous wedding!

Ann and Craig were married at the beautiful Villa Del Sol d’Oro in Sierra Madre.  We had never been to this venue but were so excited to shoot here, it has such an amazing feel and look that you can’t find anywhere else. Ann was looking gorgeous and I was in love with her Monolo Blahnik shoes, they suited her perfectly.  These two are such a wonderful couple and Louis and I felt so lucky to be part of their wedding day.  Thanks again you two for having us be your wedding photographers!

September was a busy month!  Today I shot Jenea and Matthew’s engagement session in Laguna Beach.  The tide was much calmer than it had been lately, and the skies were nice and clear.  We headed downtown for some city shots in Laguna first, then over to the beach.  I really had fun hanging out with you both and we are very excited for your wedding soon at the newly remodeled Padua Hills Theatre.

Angela and Vince chose Laguna Beach for their engagement session, which is always one of our favorite places to shoot.  Today the tide was higher than I had ever seen it so we had a few challenges and had to go to two beaches before finding the perfect spot.  Despite the craziness of the ocean we got some great shots and had a blast with Angela and Vince.  We can’t wait for their wedding next year at Arroyo Trabuco!

Cameron and Jamie asked us to come out to Santa Barbara for their engagement session, and of course we couldn’t wait because we love to shoot at new places.  We started at the Mission in Santa Barbara and then headed over to the beach for some fun shots.  Thanks again for having us come out for the session Cameron and Jamie, we can’t wait for your wedding next year at Arroyo Trabuco!

Today we had the pleasure of shooting Lesley and Craig’s wedding at the Westin Hotel in Pasadena.  We love Pasadena and were so excited to shoot their wedding, The Westin is such a beautiful place.  They had the ceremony right across the street at a beautiful church, and even though it had no air conditioning on one of the hottest days in September we still loved shooting there.  These two are such a great couple and we wish them all the best in their lives together.  Thanks again Lesley and Craig for letting us be your wedding photographers.

Today was Christy and Richard’s Engagement session in Laguna Beach.  Today was also their anniversary of the two of them being together.  We were so excited for their session because it would be the first time we would meet them in person.  I had spoken to Christy many times over the phone and knew right away that we would get along great, and when we met in person it seemed like we knew each other for years.  We met up with them at Taco Loco and they treated us to lunch, which I have to say thank you both again for the wonderful treat.  :)  After lunch we headed through the town for some fun shots and then over to my favorite beach.  Richard surprised Christy with a beautiful gift from Tiffany’s, we were so glad to be there to capture part of their anniversary with them.  Thanks again Christy and Rich, we can’t wait for the wedding!
