Today Gabriela and Paul celebrated their wedding at the gorgeous Seven-Degrees in Laguna Beach.  These two are such a fun loving couple and so photogenic so we were so excited to be their photographers.  This was a unique ceremony for us because the entire event and all the pictures were at night.  It was fun doing things a little bit differently today.  Gabriela did a wonderful job designing this wedding, the details were gorgeous and the tall centerpieces really made the room come to life.  Thank you again Paul and Gabriela for letting us be part of your wedding day!

Stacey and Kevin were married the day after Thanksgiving at one of our favorite places to shoot, Padua Hills Theatre in Claremont, Ca.  We were especially excited to shoot this wedding for a couple reasons, one was that we had never met Kevin and had only met Stacey one time when she booked with us so we were very excited to get to know them better.  We immediately felt like old friends, these two are such a sweet and fun couple.  The second reason is because Padua Hills just went through a complete renovation and we couldn’t wait to shoot the beautiful new grounds.  The trees here are some of the most beautiful trees that I’ve ever seen and being so high up in the mountains it doesn’t even feel like you’re in Southern California.  I just adore this location and Stacey and Kevin, it couldn’t have been a better wedding.  Thank you both again for letting us be part of your special day.

Lara and Lance are getting married next year at one of our favorite places to shoot, Padua Hills Theater in Claremont.  These two have such a great sense of style and are so much fun to work with that it makes us even more excited for their upcoming wedding.  We headed out to San Diego for their engagement session to take advantage of the beauty of Balboa Park and this shoot could not have been better, with gorgeous light and a very photogenic couple, not to mention all the endless spots to shoot at Balboa Park.  I only wish that the light had lasted a little bit longer, but this time of year the light falls so fast, so if you have an upcoming wedding or engagement session with us make sure to plan pictures for the golden hour between 3 and 4:00.  Thanks again for a great afternoon you two!  I hope you enjoy the sneak peek and have a great Engagement party this weekend.

Katie and Jay decided to have their engagement session in Downtown Disney, and I was so excited because I’ve shot many times at Disneyland inside the park but never downtown.  These two got up super early to drive out to Disneyland before anything opened so that we wouldn’t have to worry about crowds and we would get great morning light.  The light was perfect this morning and there weren’t too many people around, we also found so many fun colors and textures here, which is exactly why they wanted to have their pictures done here.  Thanks again Katie and Jay for a fun morning!  I can’t wait to see you two again on your wedding day!

When we first met Nicole and Michael last year  they were going to be having a church ceremony in Diamond Bar, but they called us just a few months after booking letting us know that they might have to cancel with us.  When I heard Nicole’s message I was so bummed out because I really liked her and Michael, so I called her right back to find out what was going on.  She told us they were moving the wedding to Cabo San Lucas and to a different date, little did they know that we travel for destination weddings so we were able to make it all work out, and luckily the date they chose was mid-week and we didn’t have the date booked.  We were more than excited to be going out to Mexico to shoot Nicole and Michael’s wedding not only because it was going to be in a gorgeous location but also because these two are such a fun couple, not to mention that their family and friends are a blast too.  More then 60 people joined in the celebration at the HIlton Los Cabos Resort in Mexico and came out from Los Angeles for the wedding, and it made for a very fun wedding.  We also had a great time working with two very talented and well known videographers, Michael Wong from Canada, and Ray Roman from Florida.  Thank you again Nicole and Michael for letting us be part of your wedding day!  We had so much fun with you both and we love that you are the kind of couple that will jump into the pool after the wedding!

Today I shot Erin and Cort’s engagement session in Irvine.  This location was very popular today, with many people all around, but who could blame them it was so nice outside!  Thank you both for a fun afternoon, we are looking forward to seeing you both again soon.

Today I shot the Herndon family in Laguna Beach.  Laura, our future bride to be wanted to get her whole family together for some nice family pictures.  This is such a sweet family and I can’t wait to see them all again at Laura and Eric’s wedding next year.  Thanks for being so much fun to work with Herndon family!  :)

Christy and Richard had their wedding at a beautiful church in Orange and the reception at the Irvine Marriott.  These two are one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever met and I was so excited to shoot their wedding.  We only first met Christy and Rich when we shot their engagement pictures in Laguna Beach, but I already felt like I knew Christy from talking to her on the phone, she was the kind of person I knew I would instantly be friends with.  Rich won me over when he gave Christy a Tiffany’s necklace on the beach while we were shooting the engagement pictures, I’m telling you, they really are the sweetest couple.  Their wedding was gorgeous and they planned plenty of time for great pictures.  We scoped out some nearby locations to shoot their pictures after the ceremony and I couldn’t have been happier with the location that we found, these two were up for anything, even climbing into weeds.  I was so happy that Christy was more concerned with getting great pictures than what might have happened to her dress.  And despite the climbing into weeds and walking on dirt trails, her dress remained flawless all night long.  Thank you both again so much for letting us capture your wedding day, we are so blessed to have such wonderful people to work with.

Today I shot Tiffany and Pactrick’s holiday portraits in San Juan Capistrano. One of my favorite places to shoot. These two may look a little familiar because this isn’t the first time we’ve shot them. We shot their engagement session where they first both met at USC, and then later again we shot their amazing wedding back in June of 2008. They are both such a super nice couple and we are happy to know them. Tiffany is also co-owner and designer along with her sister (and also former bride of ours) Tasha, of “Studio T Creative”.
