We’ve been doing a few more sessions in LA lately, and it’s been a nice change of scenery. Madeline and Paul are City of Los Angeles employees, so they took us into some buildings that we haven’t seen before as well as some must have shots at the Disney Concert Hall. Thank you both for a fun afternoon and the behind the scenes tour of LA!

Jenea and Matthew celebrated their wedding at the Padua Hills Theatre in Claremont, California. Padua Hills always offers a great backdrop and views, and some really great food! This is one of those couples that you remember from the first meeting thinking their wedding date was so far away! Well the date arrived quickly and we thank you both very much for choosing us to be a part of your day.

I havent been in Old Town Pomona for a engagement session in a long time, and it was nice to shoot in a different location with so many different colorful backgrounds. Domeika and Nick are musicians and thats actually how they met. Thank you both for trusting me with the location and we look forward to seeing you both again this summer!

Today I shot Olga and Ari’s engagement session on St. Patricks day. I was really excited about this session because it was the first time shooting an engagement session at the Disney Concert Hall. Also during the session, Ari mentioned he had a friend with a condo overlooking the Staples Center and that we could probably get roof access to the helipad for some cool sunset shots. This was by far the longest engagement session I’ve shot to date, but I had so much fun today and this session will rank high as one of my all time favorites. Thank you both for being so great to work with too.

Did I mention that wedding season is here? Well incase you missed it, its here, and here is another happy couple that will be married later this year. Brittany and Luke chose an early morning session in the Los Rios district of San Juan Capistrano. Great spot for a bunch of different backdrops. Thank you both for a great morning!

Like we mentioned in the previous post, we had two engagement sessions today, and this one took place in Old Town Pasadena. I was really happy that Arlyne and Mark chose to shoot in the city, lots of different backgrounds and colors to use. Thank you both for being a blast to hang out with! Engagement sessions are in full swing, and today we shot two engagement sessions. Today I shot Wynette and Tuan at Victoria Beach in Laguna Beach. This was such a great session and Wynette and Tuan were up for anything, even climbing up high rocks and running from waves. Thanks again Wynette and Tuan for being such great sports, I had so much fun with you two and I can’t wait to see you again in a couple of months for you wedding.

So today I went to lunch with some old work mates, and one of my friends pointed out this place across the way, called “My Delight Cup Cakery”. I stopped by after my lunch and was very excited to box up a few of these and share with the family. When I got home, no one was home, so I decided to have a really quick mini shoot with these six little guys. There is no way I could have pulled this shoot off with the kids at home!!! Well they taste as good as they look, and Im proud to say all the cupcakes survived….well except one! Happy Friday!
