We’ve all seen the horrible videos and images online, on tv and newspaper, and I’m sure it rips at all of your hearts like it does ours. After September 11th the French President said, “Today we are all American”, today we should feel that we all are Japanese. Please take a moment of silence to try to imagine what it’s like over there and please help in any big or small way that you can. And please spread the word!

Catherine and Daniel chose to have their engagement pictures taken at the beautiful botanical gardens at the Huntington Library in Pasadena. I’ve always loved this location but never had the chance to photograph anyone but my children here so I was so excited for this session. I think we got some really great pictures and we had such a blast exploring the grounds. Thanks again you two, can’t wait to see you soon for the wedding!

I was so excited when Kristen told me her idea of an “Up” inspired engagement session!  It was just as much fun as I thought it would be with these two.  They are such a fun couple, and I can tell they are going to have such a fun life together!

It’s that time of year again for my annual boudoir marathon!  This year I will be doing the sessions at the luxurious Mondrian Hotel in Los Angeles.  This hotel is amazing and will be the perfect backdrop for gorgeous photos.  Dates will be Friday January 14th and Saturday January 15th.  Please email me directly at erinpalos@me.com for more information on reserving your session. Boudoir pictures are a great gift for your husband-to-be, boyfriend or husband for their birthday or Valentines day.  It’s also a lot of fun just to do for yourself, and we will have lots of champagne and cupcakes to make it lots of fun!  Each session will last for 30 minutes during the marathon, but if you’d like to set up a full session that can last up to 2 hours.  Boudoir sessions are also great to do as a party with girlfriends, or with your bridesmaids.

Photos and albums will be guaranteed for Valentines Day.

Jessica and Mike are getting married at the beautiful Padua Hills Theatre next year. We had a very fun engagement session out in Laguna Beach! These two were so much fun to shoot and didn’t even mind when I asked them to stand in the rock where the waves were crashing in. Right as they got into place a wave crashed down on their heads leaving them soaking wet for the last half of the session. They just laughed and had a great time anyway, and that’s definitely my kind of couple! I hope you two love the pictures! We can’t wait to see you soon for your wedding!
