When we first met Nicole and Michael last year  they were going to be having a church ceremony in Diamond Bar, but they called us just a few months after booking letting us know that they might have to cancel with us.  When I heard Nicole’s message I was so bummed out because I really liked her and Michael, so I called her right back to find out what was going on.  She told us they were moving the wedding to Cabo San Lucas and to a different date, little did they know that we travel for destination weddings so we were able to make it all work out, and luckily the date they chose was mid-week and we didn’t have the date booked.  We were more than excited to be going out to Mexico to shoot Nicole and Michael’s wedding not only because it was going to be in a gorgeous location but also because these two are such a fun couple, not to mention that their family and friends are a blast too.  More then 60 people joined in the celebration at the HIlton Los Cabos Resort in Mexico and came out from Los Angeles for the wedding, and it made for a very fun wedding.  We also had a great time working with two very talented and well known videographers, Michael Wong from Canada, and Ray Roman from Florida.  Thank you again Nicole and Michael for letting us be part of your wedding day!  We had so much fun with you both and we love that you are the kind of couple that will jump into the pool after the wedding!

Today we shot Mollie and Brit’s engagement session in Newport Beach. These two are from Texas and this was the first time we had the pleasure to meet them in person. I already felt like I knew Mollie from talking to her on the phone and talking to her on Facebook, so I knew it would be a great session. They brought awesome style and very fun personalities to this session and we had such a blast spending the afternoon with them. We can’t wait to shoot their wedding in January in Laguna Beach!

I hope you like COLOR!!! Today was the much anticipated day after session for Jessica and Lucas. Or as some people like to call it, the “Trash the Dress” session. Don’t worry, no wedding dresses were harmed in anyway during this session. Just outside the “Palace Resorts Isla Mujeres”, is the little town. Earlier in the day, Erin and I rented a golf cart and scouted locations to shoot. We found endless amounts of amazing backdrops to shoot these two. Total eye candy for photographers! Plus we had a supermodel couple now newlyweds to shoot with! This was such a fun day. I’m very sad that this is the final post of the of their destination wedding in Isla Mujeres, Mexico. Today was wedding day for Jessica and Lucas. The destination wedding took place also at the “Palace Resorts Isla Mujeres”. This is also part 2 of their destination wedding in Isla Mujeres, Mexico. Stay tuned for part 3, the day after session!

We are very excited to share Jessica and Lucas’s destination wedding in Isla Mujeres, Mexico with you! We’re also very sad though because we really miss being there! We spent a total of 4 days at the “Palace Resorts Isla Mujeres” on the tiny island of Isla Mujeres, located just across from Cancun, Mexico. We can’t say enough great things about this place, the resort is all inclusive, only has 62 luxury rooms, excellent food, and some of the best customer service we have ever experienced.

Now on to the happy couple. Jessica and Lucas are such a genuinely nice couple. From the first time we met them and even during the week we spent with them, they treated us like guests and more importantly like friends. Thank you both again for trusting us and appreciating our work.

Jessica and Lucas decided to have a little session the day before the wedding and of course we were just as excited to shoot it! This was great for the couple to get used to being in front of the camera and for us to scout a few spots nearby for pictures. We had such a great time with these two, and can’t wait to share part 2 (the wedding) and part 3 (the day after session) with you!
